The Mid Rogue Fire District was awarded scholarships through OFDDA (Oregon Fire Districts Director’s Association) for our Fire Board Directors to attend the 2025 Conference.The scholarships were provided by the Bruce Williams Scholarship Fund. This years conference is being held in Seaside Oregon and three of our Directors will be attending. Since three Directors makes a quorum, we want to be completely transparent and advise the public that they will be together for training purposes and conference attendance. They will not be discussing or deliberating any district issues or concerns during this time.

OFDDA Conference:

  • When: November 20th – 22nd
  • Where: Seaside, Oregon
  • Who is Attending: Directors Mark Jones, Vincent Ownbey, and Tom McGowan

The training provided at this conference will help our Board Members serve the district better.
